1. Introduction

Synthetic Insights LLC ("Synthetic Insights," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website synthetic-insights.ai and provides AI-powered products and services (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Services.

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access the Services.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password.
  • Profile Information: Information you choose to add to your profile, such as a photo or bio.
  • Communications: When you contact us, we collect the content of your messages and any attachments.
  • Payment Information: If you make a purchase, our payment processors collect payment card details. We do not store complete payment card numbers.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Device Information: Browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and IP address.
  • Usage Information: Pages visited, features used, and actions taken within our Services.
  • Log Data: Server logs including access times, error logs, and referring URLs.

2.3 Information from Third Parties

When you connect third-party services (such as LinkedIn, Twitter, or email providers) to use our marketing automation features, we collect:

  • OAuth tokens necessary to access the services on your behalf
  • Basic profile information from those services
  • Analytics data from posts and campaigns you create through our platform

2.4 SMS Program Information (Opt-In Text Messaging)

If you opt in to our SMS messaging program via the contact form at synthetic-insights.ai/contact, we collect and retain:

  • Mobile Phone Number: The number you provide on the contact form. We only enroll a phone number in the SMS program if you check the explicit SMS consent box at submission time.
  • Consent Record: A timestamped log entry recording your consent grant, including the exact timestamp, the IP address that submitted the form, the browser user-agent string, the form URL displayed, and the verbatim consent language you agreed to. This consent record is retained for compliance, audit, and dispute-resolution purposes for the lifetime of the SMS program plus 4 years after opt-out.
  • Message Audit Log: A log of SMS messages sent to and received from your number through the program, including timestamps, message direction (inbound/outbound), and message content. Retained for compliance and operational purposes.
  • Opt-Out Status: If you opt out (by replying STOP or other opt-out keywords), we retain a record of the opt-out timestamp to prevent re-enrollment without a fresh explicit opt-in.

SMS data sharing: Phone numbers and message content are shared with our messaging-service provider, Twilio Inc., and your mobile carrier solely for the purpose of message delivery. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes; all categories of information described above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent — this information will not be shared with any third parties.

SMS opt-out: Reply STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any SMS message to opt out. Full program details are in the SMS Terms & Conditions.

Twilio acts solely as the messaging-service provider on our behalf and does not use SMS data for its own marketing purposes.
  • Mobile Carriers: Your mobile carrier (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, etc.) handles message delivery to your device. Carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages. Carrier rate disclosure: "Msg & data rates may apply."

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review their policies before connecting your accounts.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:

  • Encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256)
  • Regular security audits and penetration testing
  • Access controls and authentication requirements

While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
